Here's the combination Jeep/cannon shots for the Payton stuff showin' up here the past few days. After looking at some of these Jeep/cannon, Jeep/howitzer combinations I've been photographing over the past several weeks it occurred to me that these little Jeeps are pulling some pretty hefty loads! I haven't had time to look into it much but I wonder if the iconic, but let's face it - tiny, Jeep was actually able to haul some the gear the toy companies paired up to it? But, whether in real life they were capable or not, it didn't matter to kids playing with Little Green Army Men. All they did was - Enjoy! Opa Fritz and Oma Bettina

Payton Cannon - SP
You can't have a toy without without a toy cannon being hauled behind it and Payton was no exception. This light field cannon was really one of my favorite Little Green Army Men toys as a kid. The lines are classic and it was small enough to hide behind 'battle debris'. It measures 4 3/8" (11.11cm) L x 1 1/2" (3.81cm) W x 1 1/4" (3.17cm) H with barrel in horizontal position. Enjoy!
