Continuing with our Medieval theme I was able to score my first boxed set of Britains Deetail figures. You'll notice the red price tag says "50.00" 50 dollars? 50 Pounds? 50 Pesos? I have no clue. Anywho I got it for $20 + shipping which is an okay price in today's market. The set consists of 7 Storm Knights in 6 poses. Britains called these Storm Knights but collector's will refer to them also as Turks or Saracens. Five of the poses are in the traditional Middle Eastern loose fitting attire while the sixth figure is a repainted Knight in black armor. Over the next week or so - as always, as time permits - I'll be posting photo essays of the figures. Enjoy! Opa Fritz and Oma Bettina

Britans DSG 54mm Viking Archers #3
After catching a nasty summer-time cold a couple of days back, I think it's time to finish up our look at these Britains DSG Viking Archer. This last figure in the set is wearing a gray tunic and has black hair. Overall this set is a terrific addition to your Viking hordes! I did manage to take some more Britains Deetail pictures last week so now they just need to be edited before posting. Enjoy! Opa Fritz and Oma Bettina

Britains DSG 54mm Viking Archers #1
Now here's the last set of Britains DSG I have to offer up at the moment. I would like to buy more but will probably wait until funds are available given that postage from Argentina to the States is a tad pricey. i do like these though and hope to get more. This set of Vikings, which fits in well with the Medieval Knights and Castle theme I've been on lately, has three distinct sets of figures:
-Brown tunics, short bow, one blonde and one redhead
-Brown tunic, longer bow, one blonde and one redhead
-Gray tunic, one short bow, one longer bow, both brown hair
I'm no Britains expert but my understanding is that they didn't make Vikings so these may be all new sculpts (don't take that as gospel, it needs to be verified). In any case - Enjoy! Opa Fritz and Oma Bettina
