This year started out with me trying to play catch-up posting my vehicles and figures photos. In this case, this beautiful Aston Martin DB5 was sitting out in The Cave for years and I finally got around to taking photos and video of it back in January. The car was a birthday present from my youngest daughter many years ago and is the only James Bond toy I have - just something I never got around to collecting - however I think it's pretty cool. Unfortunately, after so many years of being in The Cave, the bullet proof shield in the rear will not raise 😒 It measures 9" (22.86cm) L and although no scale is given on the box, I'm thinking it's about 1/18 scale. 21st Century #20002 54mm U.S. Infantry Series 2 - Pt 5 Pose 4
I like how each pose in this series either has a different type weapon or no weapon at all, as well as there being non-traditional poses. Enjoy! Opa Fritz
GIANT Starship Troopers Play Time - Pt 4 Preparing For Invasion
It's been quite the busy week here and I've had to back away from blogging for a bit. As I write this, it's nearly 8AM and I've already started a load of wash as well as getting out the Christmas tree and starting to get things ready for the annual Christmas train layout. Our layouts are not large, elaborate affairs because we live in a postage stamp sized house, but we do what we can. More on that later.
In the meantime, the GIANT Starship Troops set-up continues with these shots of our intrepid outpost garrison prepping for an alien invasion. One of the alien ships is visible in the background and troops and armor are starting to amass in preparation. Enjoy! Opa Fritz

This classic pose of a Little Green Army Man firing a grease gun is one of my favorites. Enjoy! Opa Fritz

Andy Gard Weasel
I recently acquired this Andy Gard Weasel and can now count my Andy Gard military vehicle collection complete (I still need to find my 60mm ringhand figures though - Andy Gard only made four poses and a smattering of accessories). The Weasel measures: 6.5" (16.51cm) L (w/o gun barrel) x 3.5" (8.89cm) W x 3" (6.62cm) H. The difference's between the Andy Gard and MPC Weasel are:
-The Andy Gard does not have holes in the seats to accommodate drivers/sitters
-There are no holes anywhere on the hull to accept machine guns or flags
-The hitch ring in the rear of the vehicle (used to haul the cannon) does not have that odd 'keeper' found on the MPC version
