Marx Battleground and Training Center Playset Pieces - Marx Sandbag Emplacement, Large HP

One of the really nice aspects of Marx's Battleground sets was the diverse amount of accessories. They weren't only about tanks and troops duking it out, the fields of battle were strewn with multiple emplacements, obstacles, loose weapons, and support pieces and Marx was the only company which did it to this extent.

Not long ago I posted Marx's 'J' or 'L' sandbag emplacement. The one being posted today is referred to as their 'Large' sandbag emplacement although in truth it lays right in the middle between the J/L and a smaller one (yet to be posted). This one measures: 4.5" (11.43cm) W x 4" (10.16cm) D x 1.125" (2.85cm) H. When teamed up with Marx's hard plastic mortar (which we'll cover in a separate post), and mortar round crate, this is an awesome mortar emplacement. Be Blessed and Relish Life! Ed
