Let's continue our look at the Auburn Rubber Company's line of Fire and Emergency vehicles which would of course include any Police or Squad car. The Auburn #576 Police Car was a very nice rendition with the 'POLICE' sign and siren on the hood, light on the roof, and dual antenna's on the rear fenders. Like other vehicles in Auburn's line, silver detailing was applied to various portions of the car allowing the detail to 'pop'. Like the Fire Chief's car, this too was a mid-fifties offering and would have been made from rubber-like vinyl and not actually rubber. Enjoy!
