When Binary Arts decided to discontinue its 'Dimestore Dreams' line, Bill Hanlon, who headed up the Dimestore Dreams Division, bought the tooling and started out on his own and, because of contractual reasons with Binary Arts, called the new company 'American Dimestore'. 'American Dimestore' would feature vehicles in the same vein as its predecessor but with different color schemes and a couple of whole new products. The Ambulance featured today on Toys & Stuff is a spiffy, fire engine red toy that just exudes charm and nostalgia. It's a terrific addition to any Fire Engine and Emergency Vehicle collection!
