Yesterday we looked at a couple of soft vinyl plastic barbed wire obstacles Marx made for their Battleground playsets. Another barbed wire obstacle Marx made was a nice hard styrene plastic beach obstacle which could be joined with others to provide a defense against invasion troops. Here's several obstacles joined together. Notice they do not form a straight line but rather an arc.
Fellow collector Billy Hill provided this instruction sheet. Marx included rubber bands to stretch around the upright posts. Unfortunately, this resulted in many posts being broken off. My sample has one missing as well.
