I've got some big news for the blog. Tomorrow I'm a whole new series here on Toys and Stuff (okay - that in itself is nothing new). What is new is that for the first time we'll be covering Star Wars toys! As a space toy collector, it's a bit odd that I never got into collecting Star Wars stuff but there were a few reasons to consciously avoid them: there are far too many of them, the vintage stuff gets too pricey, and I don't have room for all of that. However, over the years a few landed in The Hoard and it's time they see the light of day. Mind you, the toys we'll be covering are kind of on the fringe of collector norms, but they are Star Wars okay?
The Yoda figure we're featuring today was actually a gift from my granddaughter. She had gone to Disneyland last year (year before?) and bought one of their huge drinks - their equivalent of a Big Gulp - and this was the lid to the cup. You'll notice the hole in the back meant to accommodate the large straw.
