First, an addition to the Lionel series of Hogwarts Express train sets. In the first post of this series I stated that Lionel made a total of six Hogwarts Express train sets...
...I was wrong - there are seven sets as of this year.
The 2026 Lionel Catalog lists this:

Did you notice that there are only two cars included in the set now? Either the tariffs are hitting the company hard or their product's have become so darned expensive they're trying to figure out ways to make them cheaper! Boy this really sucks. So it appears as if I got the last, best Hogwarts Express set Lionel offered!
Second: Shortly after buying the Lionel Hogwarts Express train set, I was searching for the various add-on cars I know were made for it and came across this Slytherin Coach for nearly half price. I bought it! Like quick! Like before whoever was selling these ran out!
Third: That said, in order to make a complete consist of all nine cars Lionel made, I now need:
-Coach #99718 (which Lionel took out of my set so as to substitute it with the Dementor coach)
-Hogwarts School Coach #99721
-Hogwarts Gryffindor Coach Car #99727
-Hogwarts Hufflepuff Coach Car #99729
-Hogwarts Ravenclaw Coach Car #99730
