Hey, I got an idea - let's look at some toy figures! 😄 Okay, okay, I know, it's what I've been doin' all year, right? Anywho, more photos of Britains Deetail figures were found on the hard drive so let's do this thing!
This set of six 54mm British Infantrymen came out in 1973. I noticed while perusing the "Britains Toy Models Catalogues 1970 to 1979" (compiled By David Pullen) that a lot of the figure sets included battlefield accessories like trees and this set would have had two different barren or bombed out trees included with it. The photo of the infantry set shown here does not include the trees and while I do have them somewhere out in The Cave it would be a real task to try and locate them now. As for the 'set', it is put together from several separate purchases over the years, so therefore I have no box, and one or two of the figures shown below have since been replaced by figures in better condition.
