TRAIN TIME: K-Line Catalog Review of Hershey's Trains and Accessories

I though that before I get too far into this Hershey's thing, that I would cover the K-Line catalog's that featured Hershey's. K-Line offered more than any other toy train manufacturer and their copious amount of offering's are evident in these pages. I do not have a complete set of catalogs, so there are some years missing here. In addition, I'm not going to post the entire catalog, only extracts. Be Blessed and Relish Life! Ed

1992 MDK K-Line Catalog

The first catalog in which Hershey's is offered: a train set headed by an S-2 switcher, plus two separate sale buildings

I have this set and will feature it in a separate series of posts

1993 MDK K-Line Catalog First Edition

This catalog now features a wide variety of separate sale accessories

1994 MDK K-Line Catalog First Edition

By now, K-Line is offering steam engines and one of the premier sets was the Hershey's 100th Anniversary set headed by a special 4-6-2 Pacific. In addition, more separate sale cars are offered.

1995 MDK K-Line Catalog First Edition

I have the work train set and it will be featured in a separate series of posts.

1995 MDK K-Line Catalog Toy Fair Edition

Essentially a repeat of the 1st Edition catalog

1996 Catalog Skipped

There are no Hershey's products featured in any of the 1996 catalogs I have.

1997 2nd Edition

By now, Hershey's is beginning to take a less prominent role in the catalogs. Here, it's relegated to the bottom right of a page featuring mostly Coca-Cola and NABISCO. However, a new engine is introduced in a new set in the form of an ALCO A-B lash-up which I have and which will be covered in a future post.
