TSSD (Toy Soldiers of San Diego) Set #17 Dismounted Cavalry with Casualties 60mm - Pt 5 Pose 4

The next three sculpts do not lend themselves well to my normal 12-pose photo essay so two-shots per figure will be the norm for them. Be Blessed and Relish Life! Ed

The underside of the remaining three figures has no detailing to speak of

TSSD (Toy Soldiers of San Diego) Set #17 Dismounted Cavalry with Casualties 60mm - Pt 4 Pose 3

The ubiquitous 'prone firing rifle' pose is nicely represented in this 60mm sculpt. I imagine him to be firing over a dead horse as these are 'dismounted' cavalry poses. Be Blessed and Relish Life! Ed

TSSD (Toy Soldiers of San Diego) Set #17 Dismounted Cavalry with Casualties 60mm - Pt 3 Pose 2

Pose 2 from TSSD's Set #17 shows a wounded soldier laying upright against something. Marx had a similar 54mm pose and it's only fitting that a larger 60mm pose be offered by someone. Be Blessed and Relish Life! Ed

TSSD (Toy Soldiers of San Diego) Set #17 Dismounted Cavalry with Casualties 60mm - Pt 2 Pose 1

Pose 1 from TSSD's set #17 is a really cool sculpt of a cavalry officer standing and firing his pistol. He would look good in an ACW or Indian Wars setup. Be Blessed and Relish Life! Ed

TSSD (Toy Soldiers of San Diego) Set #17 Dismounted Cavalry with Casualties 60mm (2010) - Pt 1 Set Packaging and Contents

I bought these many years ago when Toy Soldiers of San Diego was still a thriving concern. They were among the premier toy soldier hobby shops in the country and had their own line of toy soldier sets. Since then, the owner retired and the line has been taken over by McShaun's Closet. Traditionally, there were few casualty sculpts in the Little Green Army Man world. Marx did have several really nice ones, but the field was lacking overall. Smaller manufacturers have helped fill the void over the years and now casualty sculpts are fairly easy to come by. This particular set is appropriate for either the American Civil War or Old West and these bigger, 60mm, figures can be used with MPC ringhands if you so desire. The set has twelve figures in six poses. Be Blessed and Relish Life! Ed

I cleaned up the artwork a bit

REL Cannon and Limber and Figures - Pt 2 - Limber

Totally forgot I was gonna post separate photo essays of the REL limber and then the cannon. Okie dokie, well here's the photo essay for the limber sans driver and cannon. The limber is 5 1/2" (13.97cm) L X 3 1/4" (8.25cm) W.  Enjoy!
