Landing Party - Pt 3

Okay, I promise this is the last 'landing party' picture using the Alpha 1 Rocket. There were four of these photos done at the same time using different backgrounds. While I like them all, it's time to come up with other ideas. Enjoy! Opa Fritz

Landing Party - B&W

This is the same photo used in yesterday's post but in black-&-white. I like doing that effect for some of images but not for all of them. Enjoy! Opa Fritz

Landing Party (Another Montage Using The Alpha 1 Rocket by Scientific Products)

I had used Scientific Products Alpha 1 Rocket for several of these montages, two of which have already been posted. Enjoy! Opa Fritz

Alpha 1 Rocket by Scientific Products 1950s - Another Shot

The Alpha 1 Rocket was powered by powdered citic acid and I'm told it was a darn good flyer back in the day. When I was a kid I remember having a rubber band launched rocket with a rubber band that was quite thick - industrial grade. My rocket flew really good too - ONCE! It landed on the roof of a neighbor's house - a two-story flat on top of a hill. Yup, never did get that rocket back LOL. I decided to go with a less fiery sky backdrop for this treatment. Enjoy! We pause our regurlay scheduled programing for...

...something else LOL

I have to pause the series of Imperial Toy Apollo Moon Exploring while I finish editing the photos for the remaining sets! Soooo, I'm going through the old photos and found some cool projects I worked on a year or two back that I never posted.

Here is a terrific, very '50s pointy-tube-with-fins rocket design from Scientific Products. I've had the set for a couple of years now I just haven't gotten around to photographing the whole set. I did take a bunch of pics of the rocket sitting on my diorama base and Photoshopped them into some cool shots. Enjoy! Opa Fritz

This does sort of tie-in to that whole Imperial Toy / SpaceX theme as I used the figures from those sets for these shots
