HG Toys No. 877 Alien Attack Playset - Pt 1 Box and Contents

Okay, you caught me! I'm cheating again 😄 Here's another set I have the contents for (well, mostly), but don't have the original box. Again, it's my way of presenting a mostly complete set in the best way I know how. The Buck Rogers set posted starting in July, was a complete example but was one of HG Toys later sets, sooo I went ahead and posted their 'Space Wars' set which was - by my best guess - their first space playset. It introduced most of the spaceships and figures included in later sets - with a couple of changes along the way.

The 'Alien Attack' playset: This differs from the earlier 'Space Wars' set in that includes several more robot figures (actually just multiples of the two robots included in 'Space Wars'), a nice cardboard diorama, as well as a vacu-form terrain piece. Culling pieces from my collection I'm able to piece together an okay representation, however, I'm missing four robots and the vacu-form terrain piece. Because we've gone into so much detail already, this series will be a bit truncated.

Imperial Toy Set #7545 Space Warriors and Aliens (1998) - Pt 7 45mm Aliens - An Impossible Lot

Man-oh-man, I almost threw in the towel with this group of sumbitches! Okay, there are four alien poses in three colors: blue, yellow, and white. Fine. These things are molded in very light, pastel colors - bordering on translucent. Even when looking at them close up, the details kind of fade into nothingness. I tried different colored backgrounds and different lighting, but the one thing that gave me the biggest grief was my POS camera. It has enough trouble focusing on bright solid colors, nevertheless these ethereal outer world beings. I had the darndest time getting more-or-less usable photos, so here's what I'm gonna do: I will only post one color for each pose instead of all the different colors. Somehow, there's got to be a way to get bright clear shots (aside from spending money I don't have on a better camera) but frankly I don't have the patience. Oh well. Be Blessed and Relish Life! Believe it or not, there is some detail molded into these figures, but it's hard to see.

Can you see the detail?

NEW SERIES: Imperial Toy Corp. Set #7545 Space Warriors and Aliens (1998) - Pt 1 Set Packaging and Contents

Today is the start of yet another series: Imperial Toy Set #7545 Space Warriors and Aliens from 1998. This whole thing started when I got this 45mm figure as part of a job lot a year or so ago.

Not knowing who made it, I posted the photo on Meta (facebook) and the guys came through for me by identifying it as an Imperial Toy spaceman. It didn't take long before I was able to get a MIB set from fleaBay and here we are today.

This isn't so much of a playmat as it is a background. Not being very large, it wouldn't be much good as a playmat anyway.
(this is a Photoshopped image, taking out the creases and scratches)

The set consists of:

17 45mm Space Warriors in 5 poses
17 45mm Aliens in 3 poses
4 Spaceships of 2 types
2 Tanks of 1 type
1 12" (30.48cm) x 9" (22.86cm) Background

Unknown Manufacturer: Alien Lot - Pt 2 Lego Bot

This guy made me think of Lego's gone bad so I call him Lego Bot. Was this meant to be a wargaming piece? Anywho, if anyone knows about this or the other figures I'll be posting in the next few days, let me know. Thanx! Be Blessed and Relish Life! Ed
