That's not all cloud. It's the smoke from the Carpenter One wildfire in Carpenter Canyon, on the back side of Mt Charleston, NV as seen from our house. Lightning started the fire about four days ago where it was closer to Pahrump. However several hours ago it appears as if it jumped a ridge and is now more visible from our perspective.
