Unk Mfr - Oscar Meyer Wienermobile Bank

Back in 2016 I posted a bunch of Oscar Meyer Wienermobile's but then they abruptly stopped. I mean after all, a blog cannot live on wieners alone! And then a couple of years ago I picked this up for a decent price from fleaBay with the intent of putting a motor in it from a 3-rail O-gauge train as I've seen so many others do. There have been several variations for exactly how to install a  motor but - like so many other projects - this one is as yet unrealized. But that's okay because the toy itself is still cool all by itself and is in great shape. There is no manufacturer listed on the box and underneath the chassis it  simply says "Made in China". It measures 10" (25.4cm) L x 3" (7.62cm) W x 4 1/2" (11.43cm) H. Enjoy! Opa Fritz

Mattel Hot Wheels 1991 (93) 1-50 scale No.3029-0910 G2 Oscar Mayer Wienermobile

This is a toy I've been wanting to get for years.and just never got around to it. I always wanted a fleet of iconic vehicles to roam around the old train layout I just tore down a couple of months ago but it didn't work out that way. Still, I can set it up on the small layout I'm using now. The Wienermobile is just a cool, fun car and Mattel's version is a nice rendition of it. The packaging reflects a copyright date of this toy as 1991 but under the chassis it is clearly marked as being made in Malaysia in 1993. It measures 3" (7.62cm) L x 1 3/8" (3.49cm) H x 1 1/8" (2.85) W. Enjoy! Opa Fritz and Oma Bettina

Oscar Mayer Wiener Whistle v.3

Continuing our latest series of Oscar Mayer related posts we have the latest version of the Oscar Mayer Wiener Whistle. Our sample dates from 2013 but honestly I don't know how far back this particular design goes. It's a much nicer rendition than the v.2 whistle which was awkward looking and out of proportion to the Wienermobile's it was meant to present. This one measures  2 1/8" (5.39cm) L x 1" (2.54cm) H x 5/8" (1.58cm) W. Enjoy! Opa Friutz and Oma Bettina
