Moon Over Las Vegas by Bettina

I have been soooo remiss in not sharing photos that Bettina has been taking right from our own backyard, or sometimes front yard. yesterday the world saw the longest Lunar eclipse of the century, however we here in North America missed out on that spectacle. Oh well. That being said, we are now in the midst of our 'monsoon' season where the flow of moist air switches from west-to-east to east-to-west bringing with it moisture and rains from the Atlantic or Gulf of Mexico. The Las Vegas Valley has seen a lot of rain storms but Bettina was still able to pull off some nice shots this week. Enjoy! Opa Fritz and Oma Bettina

Monsoon Skies

Bettina has been taking some great photos but just hasn't wanted to blog them, finding it easier to just post on facebook. I'd love to post more of her work but there's very little time to do my own photos but I couldn't pass up this opportunity to share some pics and video that she took a couple of days ago. We are in the midst of the Monsoon season here in the American Southwest and when the atmosphere gets really juiced we have some wonderful vistas - all right outside our door. Enjoy! Hello Everybody!Here are Pictures from Thanksgiving Day.Sheep Mt.with Bird's & a .gif. and allot of Bird's busy by the Bird Feeder.Crow in the Tree & some Bird's in the Tree and some more Sheep Mt. Picture's followed by a Beautiful Sunset & when i was doing that i noticed some Light in the Sky my thought was a Star and shortly i zooming I Noticed a Airplane took Pictures and than I seen the Star and the Airplane so took that Picture.It was not as good that Picture but I got it.Took a Picture of the Star by itself Enjoy it do my best I can from the Berg's Sorry I forgot put some more Picture's from Bird's Enjoy from The Berg's
