Acme #I-133 1942 Buick Fastback Police Car

Today on Fire Engine and Emergency Vehicle Friday we bring you a nifty plastic police car from the 1950s, the Acme #I-133 1942 Buick Fastback Police Car. The car is hard plastic with black rubber tires and a rubber (or soft vinyl?) antenna attached to the rear bumper. The identification for this car came from one of Walt Hiteshew's excellent toy and train identification guides "A Pictorial Guide to Plastic Cars & Trucks".  There are many brands covered, some quite obscure and at $14.95 + postage it is well worth the money. The guide is one of several available on CD at:
