Auburn #277 Tow Truck in Header Bag - Red SP

My last Auburn vehicle post was back in 2018 and the photos for this toy were taken in 2019. Why didn't I post them back then? I dunno. Okay, well here they are. Collector's always love original packaging and this little treat was no exception - I thought it was cool when I bought it :-) The truck is molded in a red SP, measures 8 3/4" (22.22cm) L x 3 1/8" (7.93cm) W  x 3 3/4" (.52cm) H, and is lettered for "AUBRUN TOWING SERVICE" in white on the cab doors. It appears to be late '50s - early/mid '60s and personally I'm leaning towards 1960s. Enjoy! Opa Fritz

Road Champs 1/43 Scale Diecast 1953 Chevy C3100 Goodyear Wrecker

Here's a really nice diecast wrecker /tow truck from Road Champs from I believe 1998. The box for this is long gone and the date on the bottom of the chassis is really small but it looks like 1998, which is about the time I was in my diecast vehicle buying binge.  It measures 5" (12.7cm) L x 1 7/8" (4.76cm) W x 2 1/4" (5.71cm) H and has opening doors and tailgate. Allied Tow Truck - Aqua HP

I could have sworn I posted this before but a search of my spreadsheet and the blog search function turned up bupkis so I s'pose now is as good a time as any - before I forget again. This little wrecker/tow truck from Allied is a nice little addition to the toy garage (of which I have a pretty decent amount) however it is missing the chain and winch assembly - guess it needs to go in the garage for repairs itself huh? The truck is kind of aqua or powder blue (my color vision sucks!) and measures 4 1/2" (11.43cm) L x 1 7/8" (4.76cm) W x 1 5/8" (4.12cm) H. Enjoy! Opa Fritz and Oma Bettina
