One of the nice things about trains as a hobby is the incredible diversity of things one can collect or be interested in. There are of course the obvious subjects - engines and rolling stock, but then there's a whole category of ephemera with all the little things circling around the periphery like gnats around our head. Take paper for instance. A person can collect stationary, envelopes, calling cards, passes, menus, stocks, bonds, posters, post cards, ads, photos, or timetables. Most of these are fairly inexpensive and many of them have wonderful pictures and graphics. Today's featured timetable from 1939 is colorful and features twin Milwaukee Road Hiawatha's. Enjoy!
