It seems like over here in the States, men don't really expect to get flowers - for just about any special day - but during the nearly ten years I spent in Germany I was somewhat surprised that it is not at all unexpected for men to to get flowers on their birthday's and Father's Day. And why not? They're colorful, often aromatic, and just brighten the household. Now, I enjoy getting them. Lately as both the Frau and I have been having fun taking photos of other things besides toys, it just seemed 'right' to take photos of the Moth Orchids she bought me, and then having a little fun with them.
