Jaymar #255 39 PC Railroad and Village Construction Set - Pt 11 People, Misc

We're almost finished with the 39pc Jaymar Village and Construction set, just one more installment.

These are the figures which came with the set. The cover art does not show the group of four people (far right) - what I call the 'Platform Crowd' - but does show a man reading a newspaper. The Platform Crowd measures 2" (5.1cm) H x 2 3/8" (6cm) W.

Notice that although there are two 'STOP' and two 'RR' signs they are slightly different. The tallest sign (the 'STOP' sign 4th from right) is 2 1/4" (5.7cm) H x 1 7/8" (4.8cm) W

The barricade is fairly large measuring 3" (7.6cm) L x 1 1/2" (3.8cm) H

Without some kind of brace, the barricade will just fall flat.

Boxcar on Siding

The supporting flaps at the base are long since gone and I had to glue on some braces in order to allow the boxcar to stand on its own. It measures 2 1/4" (5.7cm) H x 3" (7.6cm) W

There would probably have been 28 bases which came punched as circles needing to be separated

The Village

The whole set-up below measures 48" (121.9cm) W x 25" (63.5cm)

Here's the cardboard Greyhound bus featured in an earlier post pulling up to the station.
