With the little granddaughter keeping her busy, Bettina hasn't posted much lately although she has managed to take pictures during her quiet time. During such a quiet time early this morning she managed to get several videos of a Mockingbird singing. She's tried this before, but was only able to capture the song, never the bird itself which was always hiding in our trees. The bird shown in today's video was in a neighbor's tree some 50yards or so from the house. Although the camera was mounted on a tripod the picture is still shaky - due probably to the distance, light, and ability of the camera to focus - or not. Personally I thought it was really cool that she started this series of videos by trying to capture the Moon. During filming she realized the bird was singing and then focused her attention on capturing the bird and ended up by going from Moonset to sunrise. Enjoy! Opa Fritz and Oma Bettina
