CIRCUS TIME: Circus Craft No. CW-40 1/4" Scale Stake Driver

Have you ever gone camping? Then you know that standard operating procedure is to drive stakes into the ground and then attach the ropes to the stakes to help hold the tent in place. The same principle is used on the circuses - only in a much larger scale! The stakes are huge and there are two basic ways they're gonna get pounded into the ground: manually by having brawny roustabouts with sledge hammers pounding them in OR using technology, namely  a mechanical stake driver with the capacity to drive multiple stakes.

Both Wardie-Jay and Circus Craft made stake driver's but with slightly different designs. This Circus Craft design is the larger of the two and similar to the Ringling Bros. stake driver posted earlier today. I bought mine already built up, but there's a Wardie-Jay kit waiting in The Cave to get built. Enjoy! Opa Fritz

I culled this photo from fleaBay so you can see what the boxes looked like
