MPC Command Jeep with Searchlight
Today we're just toolin' around Blogsville in our Jeep. MPC made these Command Jeeps in a variety of configurations. I haven't seen any big playsets with these in them but I have seen pictures of smaller playsets with the Jeep, a helicopter and a handful of figures in them. Enjoy! Opa Fritz and Oma Bettina

MPC Command Jeep - Blue SP
Wellll, I'm gonna wander around Blogsville a while before I find a good resting place. I got a few more of these terrific little Command Jeeps from MP to show off so I'll post these until I decide what to do next. This one is in what call U.N. (United Nations) blue and it's probably not a political statement on MPC's part but just another toy in a bright shiny color. Anywho, it can be used for U.N. duties or even as an Air Force vehicle. TRAIN TIME: A Yank Does Hornby Pt 5 - Hornby No. 1 Water Tank
One of the things you notice when starting to collect Hornby is their striking red boxes made of a sturdy cardboard that many of loco's, cars, structures, and accessories came in. The UK style tanks are generally quite different than what we're used to here Stateside but it's these differences that make collecting foreign trains fun. The tank measures 6 1/2" (16.51cm) H base to top of tank x 3" (7.62cm) diameter tank x 3 3/4" (9.52cm) x 2 5/8" (6.66cm) base. Enjoy! Opa Fritz and Oma Bettina
