Payton Products, Inc. Little Green Army Men - Pt 8 Repo Payton Motor Gun Carriage Dark Green SP

This particular piece was bought loose. It was sold simply as a Payton Gun Carriage and when I got it, determined it to be a repo. While it has that characteristic waxy finish, which is a dead giveaway, I could find no color match to this on Victory Buy's website. As they are the current manufacturer of the Payton Duster's, this may be the product of an earlier manufacturer, OR Victory Buy discontinued this color.

Payton Products, Inc. Little Green Army Men - Pt 7 Victory Buy BMC Repo #48543 Payton Motor Gun Carriage - Olive Green SP

Okay, so, while Victory Buy may not offer repo Centurion tanks - which I erroneously claimed in an earlier post - they do offer the Motor Gun Carriage, and in a variety of colors to boot: OD, tan, gray, red, green, black, and pink (they also sell on fleaBay and Amazon). So far I've only bought olive green and OD but am thinking about getting the tan or gray ones as well. You get four vehicles to a pack as well as a sheet of stickers.

(L) Original (R) Repo

Set #48543

Trying to match original and repo colors again

All four fresh out of the bag

Payton figures are not being reproduced and the tooling for those may be lost, but here's one posed next to the repo Duster

Payton Products, Inc. Little Green Army Men - Pt 6 Motor Gun Carriage (M42 Duster) - Dark Green SP

Last of the color variants I have in my collection.

So here I am comparing an out of bag sample with a MIB sample and trying to make sure if the loose Duster was an original or repo.

(R) a known repo. Repo's generally have a brighty, shiny, waxy finish to them, while originals tend to be be more flat and muted - not always, but usually
