This nifty Nasta M18 Hellcat tank was part of a job lot which included the Boley Puddle Jumper blogged yesterday. My only other toys from Nasta are a Flash Gordon spaceship and a Wild West playset, so this WWII themed toy is a welcome addition. While my tank is cosmetically in good shape, I'm afraid it doesn't work. Okay, well, maybe ne day I'll find one that works. When I buy job lots, it's usually not important to me if something doesn't work as long as it displays well - important for taking photos. It measures: 4.875" (12.38cm) L x 2.5" (6.35cm) W x 2.625" (6.66cm) H. be Blessed and Relish Life! Ed
This was my job lot: Nasta Tank & Boley Puddle Jumper

Hello Ed, I think you will find this Nasta "M18 Hellcat" is actually more like a post-WW2 M47 Patton tank (allowing for the distortions caused by the toy's battery box, and the fact it is just a toy after all). While not obvious from the profile illustrations above, as a "tank destroyer" the M18 had an open topped turret. Also the shape of the engine deck, the number of wheels, and the distinctive protruding hull MG mountlng are further clues (the M18 did not have a hull MG). By the way, Tamiya modelled the M47 in 1/35 scale as kit 37028.
