Last week Toys & Stuff featured a nifty chicken coop included with Marx farm playsets of the early 1950s. That one was fairly large, but by 1959 Marx had down-sized its coop to this rather dimunuitine structure which it included in its 146pc Modern Dairy Farm set. It measures 3 3/8" (8.6cm) L x 1 7/8" (4.8cm) H x 2 1/4" (5.7cm) D. Some years later, Marx would re-vamp this little coop by adding a tin-litho fence enclosure (which I don't have - yet). Enjoy!
