Today we have what I previously called simply "Marx Spaceship #1" because the number '1" was molded underneath the original's body and I have no idea as to an original catalog number. We blogged that one here on Toys and Stuff way back on 19 Dec 2013. The originals were all done in a kind of muted metallic & jewel tones, not nearly as brightly colored like these copies and the originals were hard plastic while these are all soft plastic. Enjoy! Another failed attempt at photography. Most of my small toy photos are taken on the Amazon MyStudio, but that didn't quite work for these. This yellow is so bright all the details get washed out.
I think the black background works far better than white or using a complimentary color.
