MPC Ringhands - MP117 The Rigger

I've nicknamed this guy 'The Rigger' because more than anything he looks like he's trying to haul in a rope. His arms are so far apart that the only weapon that looks kind of right with him is the BAR (Browning Automatic Rifle). This series of figures was odd in that there was no opposing Army. MPC's ACW range was molded in blue and gray to simulate Yank and Reb forces, Cowboys had their counterpoint with Indians, and the Rev War had their Brits and Colonials but the modern era military had no one. When these were made back in the '60s possible adversaries would have been the N. Koreans, Chinese, or Viet Cong but MPC sorta just went with 'War Games' theme - everyone the same. As MPC made these figures in a variety of hues, other hobbyists have stated they would collect as many colors (other than OD) and use them as the fictional 'enemy'. Enjoy!
