TAT in a Diamond (Hong Kong) T-21 Flip-Over Car (Moon Buggy)

Here's another Moon Buggy / Flip Over Car, the T-21 from TAT (Hong Kong). Their logo is the word (all caps) TAT in a diamond and you can just barely make it out on the photos below. These types of toys were pouplar in the '60s and '70s and came in multiple colors and varieties - you'll notice the T-21 in the picture below is red while mine is silver. The car measures 7 1/4" (18.41cm) L x 4 1/4" (10.79cm) W x 4" (10.16cm) H. On my sample the antenna is broken off so I'll have to see if there's anything in the parts box I can use for now. The tires / treads are intact on mine as well, and it runs! However the small 'keeper' or tab which holds the battery cover in place was broken off so I just have a screw and washer holding the cover in place until I make another one. You'll see in the photos that this too is comaptible with 54mm astronauts and so will make a great addition to the Lunar Surface Motorpool. Enjoy! Opa Fritz

These photos were culled from Web and show a T-21 with original box with the company name 'TAT' clearly printed on the end flap
