September 1979 finally ended on a quiet note. I busied myself at work. There were squadron open houses, going away parties, awards ceremonies - enough to keep me occupied. By mid-October things picked up again when George AFB held its air show. This was the only one I remember in the four years I was there so I'm gald I took as many photos as I did - 13 rolls of film!! Not every photo needs to be posted of course but this is definitely gonna be a multi-part series and I think all you plane lovers out there will - Enjoy! Opa Fritz
