Appearing in the 1955 Sears Wishbook, Marx gave their Training Center G.I.'s a place to bunk down for the night - the #T7-34 Army Barracks. I found it odd that Marx chose this odd dark color when every photo I've seen of Army barracks shows them being white. Have you run across any photo's of old barracks in a darker color? That said, it is still a terrific addition to the Marx Army world.
These photos were originally posted back in 2011 shortly after I started the blog. At that time I was only taking a few photos of the toys and hadn't settled into my 12-view photo essay format. Since then I've sold this piece (and am now suffering seller's remorse).
The measurements are:
Building Walls: 11.5" (29.21cm) W x 5.75" (14.60cm) D 8" (20.32cm) H to top of roof / 8.5" (21.59cm) H to top of chimney
Roof Line: 12.25" (31.11cm) W x 6.75" (17.14cm) D
