These salesman sheets are in my collection. Salesman sheets were a very handy tool for salesmen wanting to hawk their goods at a retailer. Instead of carrying around a suitcase full of samples, all they had to do was open their briefcase and pull out a few of these sheets showing what the company offered. If you look closely, you'll notice all the different variety of toys I've been covering since the beginning of January.
Lots and lots of planes here. Trying to discern the various types of planes and matching the sheets to actual toys is a challenge.
Set No. 226 (top, middle) contains several automobiles that I do not have in the collection.
Little Green Army Men and Old West
The Payton line of Little Green Army Men in separate header card bags.
In an earlier post I alluded to a Payton aircraft which was much larger than the ones blogged. Well, here it is - a beautiful B-17 bomber which actually drops bombs. I've never seen one of these and would really love to get a hold of one!
