Back in the middle of March I posted a set of Payton vehicles with star appliques' on them. It is known that Payton did apply stickers to some of their sets, and this latest job lot is further proof of that. These don't come up for sale that often so I snagged them up in a heartbeat and can now post them here!! One of the Jeeps has an additional sticker on the rear panel and this makes me wonder what other sticker designs Payton had!
We are almost at the end of our Payton series - whew! This has been one of the longest running series on the blog and as much as I enjoyed doing it, I'm gettin' the itch to move on. There will be a break between today's post and the final post as I'm waiting for one more shipment to come in and the Postal Orifice is slow leaking the delivery.
Besides the 45mm and 80mm Little Green Army Men posted in this series, Payton made some larger figures as well but I am totally not interested in those and more than likely will not ever buy them or post them. After today, Payton posts will be made on an as-needed basis as my collection gets fleshed out a bit more.
