Today is Wednesday which, on Toys & Stuff, is also Train Time. It's also the first Train Time of the New Year and I think we'll start it off with a series of twenty post cards issued back in 1999 by the United States Post Office called 'Trains & Locomotives'. The set of postcards features artwork found on various postage stamps and covers classic steam and diesel locomotives in addition to some famous name trains. There's even an homage to classic toy trains. Our first entry will be the colorful envelope the set was issued in, and the card titled 'First Transcontinental Railroad'.
