The vintage 1940s paper village set featured this past week by an unknown maker has six buildings and a wall - seven pieces total. There may be more to the series but not knowing who made them makes it difficult to say for certain. The last, and biggest, building is the Church. Even though it's the largest structure in the set it really isn't all that big measuring only 5 1/2" (14cm) W x 2 3/8" (6cm) D x 4 3/4" (12.1cm) H. In spite of some of the minor problems with the set, I really do enjoy the artwork. As a matter-of-fact, I like all the vintage artwork from the many series featured here on Toys and Stuff. Each set of buildings is a mirror to the past and it has been a joy to share them with you! Enjoy! We Wish you a Happy New Year Frohes Neues Jahr The Berg's
