Corgi #77348 2006 2000DC Comics Batmobile BMBV3

Last month when I posted a Corgi Batmobile I said it was the last one I was looking for in the series Corgi did back in 2004-2006. Ummm, I was wrong. TODAY is the the last Batmobile needed to round out the collection, I think, maybe...! Anywho, here it is folks, the Corgi #77348 2006 2000DC Comics Batmobile BMBV3. Enjoy!

  1. Nice one Ed (and B) I have been trying to get 'the set but it is proving very difficult. Do you have 77325, 77326, 77327 and 77329? these are the ones I am missing as single models and I would love some pictures of them (briansilk@hotmail.com if you have them) I do not know if they are part of the box sets - I think I have all of those including 77312,77333, 77334 and 77335

  2. Brian, 77329 was blogged Feb 13, 2011

I'm unfamiliar with the other ones you mentioned and tried to do an eBay search for them but came up with bupkis. Were these actually single models or part of the 'Silver Age' two-packs Corgi was issuing?

  3. Sorry for the late response, I am not normally on this site but can be contacted at briansilk@hotmail.com.

These are single issue models. When I have the details I will send them.

  4. Hi
I managed today to get 77329.
The single issue models I sent the note about are:
77325 This is the same as 77302 a 2000 BMBV1 but in black
77326 The 1990 model same as 77316 but in Dark Grey
    and
77327 Which I have never seen but is rumoured to be a blue/black version of the batmarine 77305. This may be a 'mythical' model but was described on one of the websites.

  5. I managed to get my 77326 and, as expected it is th 77316 but in a nice dark grey. I think I am only missing the 77325 now but have never seen one and it may be, like e.g. the chassis art Catmobile, it was never issued.

If you email me, address above, I have a spreadsheet of the models I know of which may help you. ATB

    1. Brian, sorry for the late reply - but it's been a tad hectic here. Actually your e-mail didn't come throughI had put together a Word doc with pics of the various Corgi Batmobiles (the series we've been talking about and not earlier issues) and the #77326 is in fact totally absent from it. It's great to hear you tracked it down. The color change is not unexpected - a toy maker's way of squeezing more sales out of the same basic product. I think perhaps this Sunday might be a good day to post a review of all the known Corgi Batmobiles from this series!!

I am not sure the 77325 Black 2000 BMBV1 really exists?? Don't chase it on my word, I'll let you know if I ever find one.

    1. Brian, this may be something that can be blogged as a mystery car: Does it exist or not? When it comes to collecting ya just never know.

    2. Ain't that the truth? I have been thinking of publishing a 'collectors' guide' to the 773** series - really for future generations. There is no history on this stuff and Hornby/Corgi know nothing about them!

    3. PS. for info
The one I think of as 77325 is contained as part of a 4 car set 77335. Yet another 4 car set, 77334 contains a black version of the 1960s convertible sold, in blue as a single, ref 77320

    4. I haven't yet decided if I should post the entire series to include Villainmobiles and things like the Batsubmersible, or just stick to the Batmobiles.

    5. Usually I don't mind multiple car sets but I stayed away from them with this series because of the duplication of color schemes with the single sale cars. IF a multi-car set had a different colored vehicle other than what was available as single sale, I might consider it though.

    4. He usually has a good pulse on the world of Bat-stuff. Hopefully he'll be able to give you some good publicity - once he knows you're not a robot LOL
