K.F.D. Ladder Truck, Long

Here's the last of the five Kellogg's Corn Flakes K.F.D. cereal premiums offered back in 1956-57. This is the one I didn't know about until a random search on eBay caught my eye. After buying the first four vehicles years ago I gave up the search thinking that there were only four vehicles to begin with, But now I know there were five. In the coming weeks I hope to post a little project that's been in the works for the past couple of months. As usual, it's a project that should have only taken a couple of weeks but has already dragged on for several months. Anywho, stay tuned to this station for more! Enjoy! 1. That's a beautiful looking plastic fire truck Ed. Or is it a tender. I'm never sure. I loved simple plastic toys like this as a kid.Great photography as usual.

    1. Thanx for the kudos Woodsy! Not having the time to research the different types of fire engines I'm relying on the photos to tell the story. I called it a 'ladder truck' but is that what it really is - dunno??? I never had these as a kid but remember seeing the commercials and always wanted them. It's nice being able to have them now!
