MPC Weasel

Originally designed in WWII for use in snow, the M29 Weasel became more well known as an amphibious vehicle. Built by Studebaker and used by Canadian, French, and British forces, their operational use lasted until the 1950s when they began to be sold off to the civilian market.

The original vehicle was really quite a tiny thing and MPC's version just makes it look larger than it really was. The toy measures 8 1/4" (20.95cm) L x 3 1/2" (8.89cm) W x 3 1/4" (8.25cm) H and is equipped with a recoilless rifle, something I believe the real Weasel's were never equipped with - but it makes for a cool looking toy! Enjoy! Opa Fritz and Oma Bettina
