BREWERIANA: Hoffbräuhaus 'CAMP' - 1l Ceramic Bier Krug / Beer Stein with Lid

Here's a special piece in my collection in that it was purchased at the original Hoffbräuhaus in Munich, Germany during our visit there in 1990. The word 'CAMP' is on the bottom of the vessel (I totally forgot to photograph the underside) and is how I identified it, BUT is "CAMP' the maker/manufacturer or does it mean something else? Enjoy!
