No military playset of the era would be complete without a Jeep and Marx certainly didn't let kids down. You'll notice that on the sides and back are engraved stars, or 'USA' - something other manufacturers didn't do. It could be that, because no makers marks were molded into the piece and other makers Jeeps were similar in size, Marx felt the need to distinguish their product in some other way.
