A month ago, on 7 August, I did a post on miscellaneous terrain pieces which included the ubiquitous Marx log fence. At the time all I could find were my discolored white fences, but since then I uncovered the rest of my stash.
Essentially Marx made these fences in three colors: white, light brown (or caramel brown), and dark brown. They were included in a variety of playsets back in the '50s and are quite common. Should you come upon fences that look like a cream color, those started life as bright white as Marx white plastics tend to discolor to a cream over the years.
