Dioramist's / Wargamer's essentially have three options when building up scenes replicating destroyed towns and villages:
a) thick-walled expanded foam or plastic buildings
b) thin-walled plastic kit-type structures as featured here today, or
c) scratchbuild or kit-bash buildings
I have a mix of the thicker foam and thinner plastic in the collection and like them both. To-date I haven't tried to scratch build anything but maybe some day I'll give it a shot.
This Bombed Farm House by BMC is still available at Victory Buy in the colors you see here for $14.50, but other color combinations were available in past releases. The building measures 8" (20.32cm) W x 6" (15.24cm) D x 7.5" (19.05cm) H.

Dang, that's a great diorama or play table there! Makes me want to bust out a role-playing game and do a campaign!
ReplyDeleteYeah Baron, that guy did a pretty decent job. It would be a wargamer's delight.
