Finally a guy who looks like he's got a job! Up until now the sculpts were mostly about parade and ceremonial activities, essentially land activities. But this guy looks as if he's aboard ship and keeping track of the action. In reality, the figure would have been a bit difficult to use as there weren't any really large toy ships made in 1956 when these figures came out, although he could still be used in a land-based setting if you made a dockyard or naval base (which I did and which I'll cover when this series is finished).
