Like the OD Comet, this Corsair was posted back in 2015. The Comet and Corsair were the only two ring-tail planes in this ~5" range that I had for years, until a few fortuitous purchases came my way. Years back I had designated this as a Vought F4U Corsair. From the side it looks a bit like a P-47 Razorback Thunderbolt, but the gull wings can't be ignored, so I went with the 'Corsair' designation. The plane measures 4.875" (12,4cm) L x 5.75" (14,6cm) wingspan x 1.75" (4,4cm) H and - as is common with these - is missing the propellor. There's a few more photos in this post than there were back in 2015 so let's enjoy!

1954 Marx Catalog Extract
This catalog extract shows the Corsair-style airplane with the Marx #3832 Airport Set and it appears to be yellow.
Marx Corsair
Shown with repo Marx USAF figure. The figure looks more at home with this plane than he did with the Comet.
