Maybe I'm getting old, but researching histories and uniforms is just getting too much for me to deal with. As many years as I've had these figures, I never bothered to see whether the paint jobs represented summer or winter uniforms, Western Front, Eastern Front, etc. Oh well. I really like the sculpting on this pose, the Luger pistol is well defined - vs. the typical lump of plastic that often characterizes Little Green Army Man pistols.
