Well, thanx to a couple of our readers today's tin litho offering has been identified as Hafner, NOT Amercan Flyer.
I have a bit of a mystery today. This GLEN ELLYN station which is clearly of pre-war vintage may or may not be American Flyer. You see, the only American Flyer guide I have doesn't even mention it at all. The stampings are similar to American Flyer's HYDE PARK station (see Toys & Stuff post on 10 Oct 2010) and the lithography is similar but it could be Bing or Ives, or...? It's definitely not Lionel or Marx though. I took these photos a couple of years ago in the hopes of finding out who made this and never really got around to it. Oh well, in any case - Enjoy!
