This thing has been sitting out in The Cave for years but only got photographed last September. It's a nice little fire engine from back in my early days of collecting these little plastic gems and while I'm not too crazy about how the photos turned out, I really don't feel like redoing them. Unfortunately, this fire truck is not listed in my favorite reference source: Plastic Toys Dimestore Dreams of the '40s & '50s by Bill Hanlon. It is a sad fact that no matter how good the reference material is, they simply don't include everything ever pumped out on an assembly line. That's life. In any case - Enjoy! Opa Fritz
