Having taken the photos of the tank still in the box back in 2016, it's easy to tell something distracted me cuz I didn't pick back up on the project until this past week. It too was a bit of a problem child in that several of the components and the figures went AWOL. After scouring The Cave all parts were found and the tank reconstructed as it was straight out of the box. Sooo, okay fine - let's see what this thing looks like.
Like most everything I had bought from 21st Century and FOV back in the day, this is 1/32 scale. It features a load of operating features and two figures. Unfortunately, most of the 'operating features' are just hatches which can be opened to reveal - nothing! Access hatches above the engine compartment open to a blank piece of plastic - no engine detail. Crew access hatches at the front of the tank are the same and either don't open fully or do not stay open. The turret hatch opens just fine to allow placement of the crewmember inside. The turret rotates, the main gun elevates and lowers, and the small MG in the front swivels from side to side. The tow hooks swivel allowing the modeler to place tow chains or cables on them and the antenna on the right side of the tank does raise and lower. The tank measures 6.75" (17,14cm) L x 3.625" (9.20cm) W x 3.75" (9.52cm) H.
